PROFILE
Frederick is an accomplished technical director with a strong analytical sense demonstrating both reasoning and entrepreneurial skills. Throughout his career he has been involved in different spheres of Information Technology, working as system analyst, web architect and business programmer. He has shown good business process acumen in IT management and consultancy. With his experience in industries such as retail distribution, textile, banking and automotive industries, Frederick is able to translate complex business concepts and processes into Management Information Systems. Capable of handling large teams, he plans, directs and coordinates activities of the designated project to ensure that goals or objectives of project are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters. He also possesses an ability to impart his expertise through excellent communication skills. Frederick was also part of the software engineer team at Application Network, a Californian company, which has designed the multiple award software JRisk. JRisk has won several prestigious awards including the Risk Award 2004, Bankers Technology Award in 2004 and 2005. And recently, Reuters acquired Application Networks for about US$ 41 Millions and renamed it Reuters Financials. JRisk is used by first tier investment banks such as Goldman Sachs, Union Bank Of Switzerland, SBC Warburg, Societe Generale, JP Morgan among others

Technical Director at UDI Mauritius Ltd, January 2005 to March 2006
As Technical Director, Frederick performs the following duties:
Reviewing project proposal to determine time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of the project. Establishing work plan and staffing for each phase of project, and arranges for recruitment or assignment of project personnel. Conferring with project staff to outline work plan and to assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority. Directing and coordinating activities of project personnel to ensure project progresses on schedule and within prescribed budget. Reviewing status reports prepared by project personnel and modifies schedules.

System Analyst, January 2005 to date
Working as a system analyst, Frederick studies user requirements, procedures, and issues by performing the following tasks:
Conferring with personnel of organizational units involved to analyze current operational procedures, identify problems, and learn specific input and output requirements such as forms of data input, how data is to be summarized, and formats for reports. Studying existing information processing systems to evaluate effectiveness and develops new systems to improve production or work flow as required. Preparing work flow charts and diagrams to specify in detail operations to be performed by equipment and computer programs and operations to be performed by personnel in system. Directing and coordinating work of others to develop, test, install, and modify programs.

Web Architect at Kaizensoft Ltd, Mauritius, 2003 – 2005
As a web architect, Frederick designed and developed the overall architecture of enterprise Web sites for business-to-business and business-to-consumer activities. His essential responsibilities included:
Participating in defining and communicating a strategic approach to the Internet, Intranet, and Extranet with regards to the functionality and connectivity of the business needs. Directing the technical team to ensure that the application architecture is adhered to throughout the development process. Providing technical leadership to ensure the security of information exchanged between employees, customers, and suppliers.

Business Programmer at Application Networks, 2000 – 2003
At Application Networks, Frederick was working on JRisk™ financial software to support the trading, risk and back-office control applications of the world's leading investment banks. His other duties equally included: Consulting with supervisor, systems analysts, other programmers, and end users to gather information about program intent, functions, features, data requirements, input requirements, output requirement. Designing or writing program specifications based on consultations with supervisor, systems analysts, other programmers, and end users. Designing and coding layouts for on screen user interfaces, printed outputs, and interfaces with other systems. Reviewing user and technical documentation written by others to confirm consistency with program operations. Training end users or technical support staff to use and support program.
