This Use Case is based on Libero's Cost Engine/Testing for Negative Inventory.

Testing Goals

  1. To transact with negative inventory
  2. To compare same set of transactions in positive fashion as control comparison

Transation Input

  • There are no additional input parameters other than what are available from CASE I.

Testing Steps

  • There are a set of steps to be used in both Negative and its Control trials.
  • Just that one Purchase step is delayed to effect a negative balance in the inventory

Excess Sales before purchase creates negative inventory

Negative Inventory Control

  • Here as explained above, the same set of steps has one purchase rearranged to the top to effect a positive inventory throughout as a comparison to the prior test.
