Work in progress
Objective
- Approve/reject patches, contributions, feature requests, new functionality, etc.
- When the commit committee consider that a feature request or new functionality is big or needs expertise of other community members it will open a public discussion in sourceforge forums
Technical Discussion
Mostly the commit committee follow his technical discussions on IRC.
Given that regularly just three members of the CC are active on the IRC, to make way to take faster decisions in the CC, two members can take decisions.
Obviously, in good criteria, CC members must open discussion with other parts when needed.
Following decisions must be known and voted by the Head of Commit Committee:
- modifying architecture of the system
- adding functionality
- moving entries to the dictionary (adding, updating, deleting)
