Searching

  • They are lots of materials already out there and we need to index again for various audiences.
  • You can index for example, for training in a workshop style for five days and for a new staff with certain qualifications. For example:
    • Knows Java 2 years
    • Knows English
    • Wants to know for their specific business in their present company
    • (That means they may not want to know too general but more specific to how to modify the system for their particular needs)
  • There are many good resources we can take from such as CarlosRuiz here.
  • Mine is here (from a more universal and university based angle).
  • So it all depends on your audience or students. What do they really want? But you cannot teach everything within 5 days. You have to be selective and focus on simple layout training plan that has less but complete finishing with hands-on exercise and quiz or games to make it interesting.
  • It can evolve along from time to time as we teach people. First thing is to get a real class to teach! :-)
  • When you begin to formulate your course, you need not type everything out in your skeleton, just links like i did above can do for a start. U can also use a mindmap tool called freemind. It can be exported here as i see some did. The whole idea is to just organise our so much content. :)) - - Red1 17:29, 31 January 2008 (EST)

Wiki tips

  • You can easily sign your name by just typing ~~~ or ~~~~ if you want to have the timestamp
  • You do not need to give complete URL if the link is in the same wiki. Just list the sub page within double brackets '[[', ']]'
  • To reduce too many log entries of same page, click on Show Preview instead of Save Page.

Thanks mr Red1 I'll discuss later with racd about the module and I'll email the person which your post to me
