I'm operating my management consultancy 3A-Strategy from Germany, working for clients in USA, France, Germany, India, Sweden and Switzerland. Our clients are midsized, global operating companies or divisions of large accounts.
My focus is on selecting and implementing solutions and processes for Performance Management, BI, Reporting and ERP. We advise in the processes of the required change management and the project management.
From 2006 on I started to advise about the offerings in the open source market for using as a viable option. To be honest: Before this time I didn't take this option in account, in our research we had to conclude a couple of times, the solutions are not yet ready to be used in a global environment with legacy systems. But that has changed and I'm happy we can be part of the game!
Therefor we did from there on major work in researching the direction to follow and how to implement best of breed solutions like for our OSBIF and OSEF. Based on this research we concluded the erp with the broadest coverage and the best support in this young market is Compiere or Openbravo and in specific the new, real open source fork ADempiere. Joerg Janke has done a great job in developing this erp framework.
