Help : The Project Window is used to define the projects which will can be tracked by phases and tasks.



Tab: Project

Description : Define Project

Help : The Project Tab is used to define the Value, Name and Description for each project. It also is defines the tracks the amounts assigned to, committed to and used for this project. Note that when the project Type is changed, the Phases and Tasks are re-created.

E.g., you cannot delete a Business Partner, if there are invoices for this partner record existing. You de-activate the Business Partner and prevent that this record is used for future entries.

Description for process "Set Project Type"

Input:

  • Parameter Project Type

Process:

This process fix the field Project Type (C_ProjectType_ID) in the selected project.

It also fix the field Project Category (ProjectCategory) with the corresponding category on the type.

ONLY if the Project Category correspond to Service (Charge) the process copy to the current project the phases and tasks from the template on project type.

Ouput:

Project with type and category fixed, and phases and tasks copied from type.
