(05:00:59) CarlosRuiz: Hi
(05:01:16) viola [~viola@pd95b04f9.dip0.t-ipconnect.de] entered the channel.
(05:01:16) hengsin: hi carlos
(05:01:23) viola: hi all
(05:02:06) viola: very short agenda is here: http://www.adempiere.com/index.php/PMC_Architecture_Meeting_20100519
(05:02:06) CarlosRuiz: Hi  :-)
(05:02:25) viola: I hope you have something to add since I will not have to contribute much
(05:04:58) hengsin: no really. in fact, don't have any update for this week as I have been busy with work.
(05:06:13) CarlosRuiz: neither here - maybe we can check the status of mercurial workflows
(05:06:17) viola: hm, same here - the only thing I can report is that we have a new developer, eloy gomez, who started to make webstart available again
(05:07:59) hengsin: Jorg, I'm still getting my osgi workspace up to date. I got this "org.apache.tools.ant.types.resolver" package does not exist error for the "tools" plugin project, do you know how to resolve it ?
(05:09:04) viola: can you send me a PM with details? - What did you do? On which build file?
(05:09:17) viola: so for mercurial...
(05:09:38) viola: I tried to check out the OSGi branch with it
(05:09:40) trifon: hi everyone.
(05:09:41) hengsin: I'm just checking out all the projects from repository, doesn't try to build anything yet ...
(05:09:51) hengsin: hi trifon
(05:09:59) viola: .... and noticed some differences
(05:10:15) viola: anyone knows how often these repos are synched?
(05:10:31) viola: I meant hg <> svn
(05:10:38) trifon: Toni should know.
(05:10:41) trifon: he is doing this.
(05:11:12) trifon: question is if this DVCS repos can have emil notification too?
(05:11:35) viola: Toni should know
(05:11:39) viola: he is doing this
(05:11:42) viola: ;-)
(05:12:06) viola: I guess discussing hg without tony doesn't make sense
(05:12:07) CarlosRuiz: I'm annotating these as questions for Tony - and will try to prepare an e-mail
(05:12:14) viola: thanks
(05:12:18) trifon: :) just checking if email notif. can be setup from the admin panel in sf.net :)
(05:13:05) viola: apologies - but what was the plan on the timeline for converting svn to hg?
(05:14:43) CarlosRuiz: no timeline - I guess we need a little more of organization there - I'll offer my help to Tony to write howtos and test
(05:15:36) trifon: bad news. Mercurial i snot that well integrated with sf.net email notification system.
(05:15:55) trifon: at least what i found from sf.net admin gui i can't setup emil notification.
(05:16:44) CarlosRuiz: I think hg have some rss feed set up by default
(05:16:57) trifon: what is hg and mercuarial?
(05:17:02) trifon: are they the same or different?
(05:17:10) trifon: rss would be fine too.
(05:17:24) CarlosRuiz: hg is the chemical symbol for mercurial  :-)
(05:17:27) CarlosRuiz: they are the same
(05:17:41) trifon: thank's relaxed a bit.
(05:18:09) CarlosRuiz: trifon
(05:18:10) CarlosRuiz: https://sourceforge.net/apps/trac/sourceforge/ticket/5437!
(05:18:24) CarlosRuiz: found this -> https://sourceforge.net/apps/trac/sourceforge/ticket/5437
(05:19:28) hengsin: Jorg, "org.apache.tools.ant.types.resolver" is one of the exported package in tools/Manifest.MF but that package doesn't exists in tools/lib/ant.jar . you don't have that issue at your workspace ?
(05:20:11) trifon: Carlos, so this email notify must be done on some local machine, right?
(05:20:17) trifon: i'm a bit confused.
(05:20:36) ***CarlosRuiz downloading osgi/approach2 [ finally ]
(05:21:03) CarlosRuiz: yes, that's what I understood also trifon - but seems to work with the ssh server
(05:21:07) CarlosRuiz: of sourceforge?
(05:21:09) CarlosRuiz: we would need to test
(05:22:33) trifon: yes. need to be tested.
(05:23:28) trifon: i might take this but i can't promisse.
(05:23:32) hengsin: hmm ... maybe because I'm using Helios M7 here ... :)
(05:26:50) hengsin: Jorg, not free now ? I can email you later if you prefer that.
(05:27:14) CarlosRuiz: trifon - about rss and atom feeds, you can find them here -> http://adempiere.hg.sourceforge.net/hgweb/adempiere/
(05:27:38) viola: hengsin, just don't whether this meeting is the right place for support discussions
(05:28:11) viola: I don't have this issue but remember having seeing something like this
(05:28:18) viola: what exactly did you do?
(05:28:29) CarlosRuiz: I can see there Tony updated hg repository 12 hours ago with last trifon commit rev 12359
(05:28:55) viola: carlos can you see something for the osgi repo, too
(05:31:18) hengsin: Jorg, no problem, lets move this off here then. For the records, it looks like an error in the manifest.mf for me, maybe eclipse 3.5 doesn't validate that as well as 3.6 do ( as I have say above, I'm just checking out all the project from svn and eclipse complains about the error right after I've check it out, i.e nothing have been done there yet )
(05:31:25) CarlosRuiz: Jörg -> http://adempiere.hg.sourceforge.net/hgweb/adempiere/adempiere/changeset/8ea8ab245ead
(05:31:50) CarlosRuiz: seems updated - I just don't know how to replicate those updates to my local copy - need to go back to hg manual
(05:33:09) viola: carlos: ah thanks! hengsin: ah I see
(05:35:26) ***CarlosRuiz creating osgi/approach2 project within eclipse
(05:36:36) CarlosRuiz: heng sin , r u using eclipse 3.6? my version states 3.5.1
(05:37:09) CarlosRuiz: osgi/approach2 built without problems
(05:37:20) CarlosRuiz: wait
(05:37:24) CarlosRuiz: 17 problems
(05:39:22) hengsin: carlos, yes, helios m7 here ( 3.6 jee milestone 7 )
(05:40:50) CarlosRuiz: here using jee 3.5.1 eclipse - seems like I need to install something else? an equinox extension?
(05:43:15) viola: here: 3.5.0 Java EE IDE, 0 problems ;-)
(05:43:39) viola: carlos no. what are the problems?
(05:43:52) hengsin: carlos, it is not a build error, but a equinox configuration file error in the tools bundle
(05:44:33) CarlosRuiz: for example
(05:44:33) CarlosRuiz: The import org.eclipse.equinox cannot be resolved Application.java /osgi/client/src/org/adempiere/client line 4 Java Problem
(05:44:43) interopen [~interopen@123.138.16.140] entered the channel.
(05:45:43) hengsin: Jorg, have you try running the webui or swing client using the eclipse "run configuration" ? that would allow debug working like normal java project.
(05:45:59) viola: ahm wait you have to set the target correctly?
(05:46:20) viola: maybe you should try and stick to http://www.adempiere.com/index.php/ADempiere/Equinox_Integration_2
(05:46:38) viola: hengsin: no thats not possible on a mac AFAIK
(05:47:05) hengsin: carlos, note that single project setup is not supported. you must remove the .project at top level and import all the sub project
(05:47:40) hengsin: Jorg, i.c, that's beyond me, don't use anything Apple here :)
(05:48:06) CarlosRuiz: :-( ah, multi-project is hard to configure for me - I have everything in one single workspace
(05:48:38) hengsin: carlos, that's not possible for osgi project
(05:49:39) hengsin: alright, guys since there isn't any update for this week, would like to sign off earlier. c your again same time next week.
(05:49:55) viola: cu
(05:49:56) trifon: bye HengSin
(05:50:05) CarlosRuiz: bye
(05:50:11) hengsin has left the channel ("Konversation terminated!").
(05:51:25) viola: ok bye then
