Overview
I communicated with Victor on IRC that I am interested in assisting with the migration of the manufacturing functionality of Libero to Adempiere. Victor asked if I knew java and I informed him that I have certifications in j2ee, BSCE, MSCS, MBA etc... He seemed to be happy to see that. I then asked if I could be added to the sourceforge project and that my user was wght. He said of course and he would petition the council to have me added as a developer. I then asked if I could post a twiki on my project and he agreed. I also asked him when he wanted this project done by and he said either 12/15/2006 or 1/1/2007. Victor guided me to take the following strategy:
- Migrate 2Pack to adempiere for export and import functionality (Victor mentioned that he had the bb with windows, reports, process, forms, don't know what that means but ok) link something to do with 2pack link Sourceforge 2pack Project Link
- Victor assigned me a task to read 2Pack_Manual_0_0_5.pdf, Mirror the adempiere 312
- Need the ad2xml of trifon
Victor mentioned that we only need the export and import functionality into the current db. Victor wants me to get this to work in adempiere 311 and possibly released in the 3.3.0 version after QA cycle.
